Welcome to Amy B. Seibert Elementary School. We are the Seibert Raiders!
Seibert Elementary School opened its doors for the first year of operation in 1963. Located in south Bakersfield, Seibert serves a diverse community of learners from a variety of socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds. Currently, Seibert has over 800 students!
Our school is named for an outstanding citizen who devoted over 50 years to helping people learn and expand their lives. Mrs. Seibert was a Kern County librarian for 17 years, a teacher at Panama School for 21 years, and a member of the Panama District School Board for 22 years. Seibert School, along with the entire Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, has a tradition of Excellence in Education. The staff at Seibert School is committed to continuing this tradition in academics, sports, music, science, and technology. Students and teachers continue to shine each year in these endeavors.
